Tokyo is about to get a dazzling makeover. Bvlgari’s largest-ever exhibition in Japan, Bvlgari Kaleidos: Colors, Cultures and Crafts, opens at the National Art Center from September 17 to December 15, 2025, showcasing nearly 350 masterpieces that celebrate the Maison’s fearless love of color.

From historic High Jewelry pieces to contemporary art, visitors are invited on a sensory journey where gemstones are treated like painter’s strokes—vivid sapphires, rubies, emeralds, and amethysts dance in bold, unexpected combinations. The exhibition’s name, derived from the Greek words for beauty and form, reflects this ever-changing celebration of artistry.

Adding a modern twist, artists Lara Favaretto, Mariko Mori, and Akiko Nakayama present immersive installations that explore color’s emotional and transformative power, creating hypnotic, reflective spaces that dialogue with Bvlgari’s heritage pieces.

The exhibition’s design, a collaboration between Italian Formafantasma and Japan’s SANAA studio, merges Roman opulence with Japanese minimalism, guiding visitors through a luminous journey of light, reflection, and craft.

As Bvlgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin says, this is “a kaleidoscope where cultures, craftsmanship, and color unite.” For art lovers, jewelry enthusiasts, and anyone who appreciates the extraordinary, Bvlgari Kaleidos is a feast for the eyes and the imagination.
