After witnessing Dior, Proenza Schouler, Ralph & Russo, Giambattista Valli, Chanel, Givenchy, Georges Chakra, Giorgio Armani Privé and Elie Saab‘s shows during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, the fash pack were treated to another stellar round of shows on day three. Take a look at the highlights here…
Viktor & Rolf
Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren sent 23 strong couture creations overnight. The entire collection was crafted using one fabric (the technical satin Duchesse from Japan) and whilst signature elements like capes, florals, bows and ruffles were spotted, there were new long silk gowns and skirts on display, too.

Zuhair Murad
East met West at Zuhair Murad‘s haute couture runway show as the Lebanese designer looked towards Native American and First Nations cultures for inspiration.
According to WWD, the designer said: “I have a lot of respect for native cultures. Without them, we are not here. They left us an unlimited heritage of art and beauty,” followed by explaining that Native American women are “very strong, very powerful, very confident.”
There was an exploration of symbolism through ultra-feminine silhouettes, sparkling motifs, intricate detailing and embroideries on ballgowns, short dresses and voluminous skirts. Discover the collection here…

Valentino
Last night, Pierpaolo Piccioli delivered another standout show for Valentino and the collection was everything we hoped it would be. The Spring/Summer ’18 offering saw a blend of art and geometry as strong silhouettes were juxtaposed against bright colourful fabrics and characteristic cuts.
Mixing the maison’s luxury savoire-faire with new modern (and modest) silhouettes, there was a selection of crêpe de chine chemises, wool capes, trench coats, double cashmere sweatshirts, taffeta cape dresses and layered organza gowns.
