London Fashion Week S/S 2020: Day one, two and three

Here's what you need to know...
London Fashion Week has officially kicked off, and the roster is bringing five days of newsworthy happenings across the pond...

Day one

Temperley London

Alice Temperley kicked things off at her main store (a lovely townhouse on Bruton Street) and her latest Spring/Summer 2020 collection has everything you need to include for your next holiday wardrobe. The designer swapped the traditional catwalk setup for a more intimate option this season: a whimsical, romantic and almost bohemian-esque presentation.

Day two

Molly Goddard

Molly Goddard is synonymous with light and airy, yet voluminous and statement-worthy silhouettes are for the new season, the designer unveiled a stunning collection dominated with full-skirted looks, expert layering with sheer ruched dresses, sweaters and crisp white separates.

Halpern

Putting a twist on retro glam, Halpern presented a new Spring/Summer 2020 collection that almost had a vintage appeal to it. Icy sequinned tops, dark capes, metallic skirts an full-skirted gowns came in a kaleidoscope of colours.

House of Holland

Fit for a Spring/Summer 2020 wardrobe, House of Holland’s silhouettes came packed with plenty of colour and a ’70s vibe with boiler suits, oversized blazer, leopard prints and achingly cool accessories.

Day three

Preen by Thornton Bregazzi

For Spring/Summer 2020, Preen by Thornton Bregazzi delivered a collection that was composed from a mix of leftover fabric from previous seasons, sustainably-sourced viscoseand georgette made from recycled plastic bottles and textile waste. Giving us a more sustainable approach to seasonal dressing, the pieces were just as beautiful with refined cuts, fine tailoring and a monochrome palette.

Roland Mouret

Roland Mouret tackled the Spring/Summer 2020 season with lightness and loveliness as easy-breezy silhouettes walked the runway yesterday. With subtle stripes, shiny metallics and pieces that eased with fluidity, the new collection is one that could be easily worn for holiday.

Victoria Beckham

Perhaps one of the most anticipated shows of the season, Victoria Beckham delivered a dress-centric collection to a celebrity front row and each look was worth an Instagram post. The collection (which could easily be worn from day-to-night) composed of cocktail gowns, business suits and chic outerwear for a modern woman.

Emilia Wickstead

Royal-approved designer Emilia Wickstead took to the runway a slew of feminine ensembles for the upcoming season. The collection included electrically-toned gingham shirting shapes, achingly cool cut outs and perhaps our favourite look of the collection, a ruched, pink puff-shouldered dress.

Now, take a look at some of the Spring/Summer 2020 collections showcased during New York Fashion Week.
