During the 17th edition of Art Dubai, Piaget unveiled ‘The House of Gold’ exhibition to celebrate its 150th anniversary. The mesmerizing display was a homage to Piaget’s signature goldwork. 

The Piaget ‘The House of Gold’ exhibition presented the brand’s rich history and its thriving present by putting iconic pieces alongside contemporary reinterpretations, tied by the common thread of exquisite of goldwork. Gold, meticulously crafted by the skilled artisans of Piaget’s ‘Ateliers de l’Extraordinaire’ in Geneva, was at the heart of this exhibition.

Benedetta Ghione, Executive Director of Art Dubai, welcomed Piaget as the high jewelry and watch partner, recognizing the brand’s commitment to artistry and excellence. From the fascinating ‘Swinging Sautoir’ necklace, offering a novel way to tell time, to the charming ‘Limelight Gala’ watches, each piece was a testimony to Piaget’s unparalleled craftsmanship.

The exhibition also showcased Piaget’s expertise in watchmaking, featuring the art of crafting ultra-thin timepieces, including the iconic ‘Piaget Polo 79,’ a masterpiece sculpted entirely from precious metals, set to be unveiled at Art Dubai.

Throughout its illustrious 150-year legacy, Piaget has collaborated with an array of artists and celebrities. At Art Dubai 2024, designer Shamsa Alabbar reiterated Piaget’s ‘Limelight Gala’ watch, infusing it with hypnotic typography and Arabic graphic design. Meanwhile, artist Razan Alazzouni embarked on a journey of cultural fusion, reimagining the ‘Limelight Gala’ with a marquetry of ornamental stones.
