The 2018 Fashion Awards were certainly one for the history books, not least because the Duchess of Sussex surprised everyone by taking to the stage to present Givenchy’s Clare Waight Keller with the award for Womenswear Designer of the Year.
A stellar line-up of the world’s most prominent fashion figures were in attendance to witness the moment, as well as to celebrate the winners on the night. Taking place in Royal Albert Hall, the awards drew models (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Kate Moss, Jordan Dunn, Kendall Jenner and Adut Akech among them), designers (like Valentino, Victoria Beckham, Roksanda Ilincic) and celebrities (Penelope Cruz, Uma Thurman and Rosamund Pike) alike to the British capital, with some exceptional red carpet moments delivered as a result. Oh, and the entire Gerber-Crawford clain was in attendance and honestly, if that’s not #geneticlotterygoals I really don’t know what is.
