Prada curates a special collection for the Middle East

Prada has launched a dedicated collection of coveted pieces for the GCC...

Following the drop of its Pre-Fall ’20 collection and campaign, Prada are now shifting its focus to the Middle East as it continues to make a mark in the region with an exclusive collection crafted with the Middle Eastern consumer in mind.

In celebration of bringing its much-loved Italian craftsmanship to the GCC, Prada has curated a selection of bags, accessories and shoes that feature an array of styles fit for the season.

The dedicated collection introduces a new generation of the iconic Re-Edition bag, adorned in saffiano leather (the house’s signature material) and features a double extensible and removable shoulder strap, a removable chain strap as well as a leather key ring marked with a Re-edition of 2005 logo.

On the footwear front, Prada’s iconic styles of sandals, slippers, sabot and open peep-toe shoes have received new variations — especially selected for the Middle East.

For both men and women, the simple styles of Prada’s footwear offerings such as the mules (most recognised for its cube heel) have now been reimagined with a crocodile-motif print; the sneakers have been made in knit and nylon gabardine fabric; and the flat mules in soft nappa leather are defined by a sophisticated look made by a padded effect construction.

And, you can never go wrong with Prada’s winning range of small accessories. For this exclusive collection, the fashion house has gathered a selection (a preview from Fall/Winter ’20) that are enriched by embroideries and artisanship.

Some of the pieces include a plethora of knots and tassels with detachable Swivel lobster clasps, bracelet cases made of soft calf, nylon and metal with a mirror inside; and mini bags made of saffiano with a polished brass finishing and a removable chain shoulder strap.
