Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter are giving commit-phobes some extra time to make a purchase...

Hey big spenders…sometimes you need some extra thought-processing time with your luxury purchases, right? And a handful of mirror selfies, too. Because, you know, Instagram.

So you’ll be relieved to find out that Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter are offering a new try-before-you-buy service called Style Trial. Exclusively and by invitation-only to EIPs (that’s extremely important people), you’ll be able to try out up to 30 items at home for a seven-day period before you officially add to cart and punch in your digits. Or if you can’t decide yourself, you can get your personal shopper to do it for you. And when they knock on your door, they’ll come bearing gifts in the form of gifted silk monogrammed robes, thank you very much.

Alison Loehnis, President of the brands said, “We are incredibly proud to offer a truly elevated personal shopping service to our EIPs. We are always looking to further enhance customer experience at Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter, and these new bespoke offerings are the next innovative step in better serving our customers within the comfort of their home.”

What we know so far is that this service is being rolled out at the end of the month to select locations in Europe and the US. But we do know that EIPs from the region visiting the UK can soak up the service for now. Keep an eye on Buro. Middle East for when the service is available in the region.
