Here’s how LVMH is helping the coronavirus fight

Using their perfume factories to produce disinfectant gels
Due to the spread of the coronavirus outbreak, LVMH are giving their helping hand by producing hand sanitizer...

The coronavirus disease (also known as COVID-19) outbreak has had (and continues to have) a major impact on several industries across the globe. Just about every fashion brand has cancelled their Cruise ’21 collection shows slated for the month of May, Watches & Wonders have cancelled their event in April and Coachella has been postponed to October.

Now, in an aid to help fight the outbreak in France, the luxury conglomerate group LVMH, will start to transform their perfume and cosmetics’ factories to produce hand sanitizer in response to the shortage across France.

According to Forbes, “the first deliveries will be tomorrow and by the end of the first week, LVMH expects to have made 12 tons of the hydroalcoholic gel. The product will be given at no charge to French authorities and the largest hospital system in Europe.”

The move follows several high profile personalities including Versace, Giorgio Armani and Elisabetta Franchi donating money to help fight COVID-19.
