After wowing in a custom Givenchy dress at her wedding to Prince Harry in May, Meghan Markle changed into a gorgeous Stella McCartney number for her wedding reception. The design was beautifully elegant with a high-neck and a low-back plus a floor-sweeping train.
Given the international popularity around the piece, Stella released a collection called ‘Made With Love’ which featured replicas of the dress. However the collection was only available to purchase by those invited by the designer herself.
If you weren’t one of the lucky few but you’ve been holding out for an opportunity to make one yours, you’re in luck, as the style has just dropped on Matchesfashion.com.
Aptly named the ‘Meghan halterneck gown’ the piece is available in black and is made in cady. It is described by the website as “a study in Stella McCartney’s elegant and considered minimalism. It’s shaped with a slim-fitting panelled bodice with a halterneck and a coordinating open back, then shaped with angular darts and coordinating godet inserts throughout the fluted skirt.” It’s available for around Dhs14,000 which isn’t too bad for a royally-approved, wear-forever piece when you think about it.
Now, find out when you’ll see Meghan next (hint: it’s in a matter of hours).
