The fashion industry is waiting with baited breath for Hedi Slimane‘s debut for Celine at Paris Fashion Week this month. We’re still a few weeks away from seeing his full creative vision for the brand come to life, however the brand has released several teasers in recent weeks.
First, Lady Gaga sported Hedi’s first handbag design whilst promoting A Star Is Born, then a new, accent-less logo was introduced followed by two images from the designer’s debut campaign for the brand.
Now, in the biggest move yet, Celine has suspended its e-commerce platform in the lead-up to the big reveal. Now, when accessing the website, users are directed to contact a customer service representative and the website displays only a countdown timer to the show and a video of Celine-branded trucks.
So if you want to get your hands on any Phoebe-era Celine pieces, we suggest you head in store instead.
Now, find out when you’ll be able to get your hands on Riccardo Tisci’s debut pieces for Burberry.
