Miu Miu is undoubtedly one of the top brands to watch during Paris Fashion Week and at last season’s runway show, its backdrop was strikingly different to previous seasons. Whilst it-models including Adwoa Aboah, Georgia May Jagger, Kaia Gerber and Elle Fanning (who made her catwalk debut for the brand then) ruled the runway, it was the poster-size monochrome illustrations on the inside of the Perret building that took our attention.
The backdrop came in the form of female faces or bodies, crossed intricately with the letters of the alphabet, and it was introduced as the brand’s newest stamp across Miu Miu’s clothing.
Now, the letters have been incorporated into Miu Miu’s newest capsule collection, called Type, and you’ll soon be able to add your own touch to the pieces.
Including crisp white poplin shirts, cotton hoodies and track pants, the pieces already come with patches of either one, two or three letters, all drawing on the ‘MIU’ of the Miu Miu name. However, courtesy of the brand’s new bespoke service in The Dubai Mall starting next month, you’ll be able to add a single letter of your choice to make your piece just a bit more personal.
