You can now shop your favourite pieces from regional talent on Eastwave’s virtual pop-up

There's a new concept that aims to support established and emerging talent and we are so here for it...

There’s nothing we love more than supporting regional talent on Buro. Middle East, so you can only imagine our joy when we came across a virtual pop-up that not only aims to support established designers, but those that are emerging on the fashion scene in the Middle East and North African region.

Eastwave, the brainchild of Dana Mortada of Fashion Collective in Los Angeles, Judy Daghestani of LFHM in Dubai, and Christian Daccache of Bureau Des Créateurs in Beirut, was launched to support MENA designers and give them a platform for sharing their story with the world.

Their main concept? It’s unlike any other e-commerce platform as every season, they’ll launch a new pop-up store on different platforms with a curated selection of designs that you’ll be able to shop from.

For Season 1, Eastwave joined forced with Dubai-based e-commerce platform, Maison Orient, to bring together unique yet likeminded talents to share their craftsmanship with us.

The pop-up showcases 16 established niche RTW designers including Mrs. Keepa, Nemozena, Yassmin Saleh, Jessica K and Roni Helou (who recently shared his message of hope after the Beirut blast), as well as a range of jewellery and accessory designers.

Shop your favourite pieces by regional talents on the Maison Orient x Eastwave platform now. Tip: have your credit cards at the ready!
