Regional designers are getting their hard- and well-earned time in the limelight this year, and another Egyptian-based label is being recognised for their works.
Every year, the Dubai Design & Fashion Council (DDFC), and the FAD Institute of Luxury, Fashion & Style Dubai (FAD Dubai), team up to select a winning designer to showcase their collections at Fashion Scout London.
This year marks the fourth season and six different designers were shortlisted to present their collections to the jury, however, THREE FIFTY NINE was selected as the winning designer of the sponsored prize.
Set to showcase its latest Spring/Summer ’19 collection at Fashion Scout London during London Fashion Week, we can expect the brand to deliver ensembles made with the finest fabrics and embellishments, along with bold prints and vibrant colours.
Speaking of winning the DDFC x FAD Dubai Fashion Scout London, THREE FIFTY NINE’s Creative Director, Marwa Sayed, said: “I’m thrilled to have been selected as the winner of DDFC x FAD Dubai Fashion Scout London. It’s an incredible platform for emerging designers to present their collections at London Fashion Week and I am overjoyed to be amongst the designers showcasing at the renowned event. I would like to thank DDFC and FAD Dubai for this opportunity and for all their support, it’s a dream come true!”
Fashion Scout London will be taking place from September 14-17, 2018 at Freemasons’ Hall, London.
