Stella McCartney teams up with Taylor Swift on a sustainable clothing line

#StellaxTaylorSwift
Only Stella McCartney and Taylor Swift can come up with a tie-dye, rainbow-coloured, eco-friendly clothing line...

It’s been a stellar year for Taylor Swift so far. Not only was she revealed as the world’s highest-paid celebrity, but fresh off of her Reputation tour, she’s been busy working on her next album, titled Lover, set to be released on August 23.

And just when we thought that the American singer-songwriter had enough on her plate, we were wrong.

Taylor has been busy creating a new clothing line in collaboration with Stella McCartney.

The beloved British designer injected her eco-friendly consciousness by adding sustainable materials to the collection whilst Taylor, stayed true to her sweet and feminine aesthetic with pastel hues, airbrushed artwork and tie-dye.

Set to be released in line with her new Lover album, the collection will “include white satin bomber jackets painted with a winged heart, tees and hoodies featuring a photo of Swift’s new cat Benjamin Button, and crewneck tops addressed ‘to my lover'”, according to Page Six.

Sharing the exciting news via Instagram, Taylor Swift took to the social media to announce the new partnership with a caption that reads: “#StellaxTaylorSwift is coming soon. It’s been SO much fun to work/dream up cute stuff with my friend @stellamccartney to create a line inspired by my new album Lover. Can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on and tell you more about the pop up shop at the @YouTube Live event this Thursday at 5p ET!”
