PUMA is turning up the heat with the relaunch of its legendary Speedcat, and it’s making a bold statement in Saudi Arabia. In an exclusive fusion of fashion, art, and culture, PUMA is teaming up with Saudi artist Rex Chouk for a one-of-a-kind activation across its Jeddah and Riyadh stores.
Originally built for F1 drivers in 1999, the Speedcat sped into street culture in the early 2000s, becoming a must-have for sneakerheads. Now, it’s back, bigger than ever. “Globally, the Speedcat has been making waves, but we wanted to create something special for Saudi,” says Zarah Rashid, Marketing at PUMA Middle East. “So, in collaboration with Cockadoodle Studio, we’ve designed an activation that puts a spotlight on the Saudi art scene.”
Rex Chouk’s vibrant art captures the essence of Saudi culture. As part of this relaunch, he’s created an exclusive Speedcat vinyl figure, decked out in PUMA apparel and sneakers. This collectible is available to Speedcat buyers from February 8–22. After that, it’s first come, first served at Red Sea Mall (Jeddah), Solitaire Mall (Riyadh), and Nakheel Dammam.
The Speedcat is a blend of heritage and innovation, and this is your chance to be part of it. Get yours before they’re gone!
