Last night, e-commerce giant Moda Operandi and Etihad Airways came together for an exclusive gathering to launch the much-awaited loungewear collection, along with a series of Ramadan ensembles and fine jewellery collection pieces.
Titled ‘Night at the Museum’, the collaborative event brought some of the world’s most familiar faces to the Louvre Abu Dhabi (marking the first time the iconic cultural institution hosted a fashion event) including style icon and founder of the online retailer, Lauren Santo Domingo, who exclusively sat down with Buro 24/7 Middle East for a quick chat ahead of the event.
The guest list also included Halima Aden, Eric Rutherford and other prominent personalities, who were all there (dressed in chic ensembles for the sleepwear-inspired soirée) to witness the unveiling of the new loungewear collection created by Emirati brand, A Friend of Mine by Xpoze.
Inspired by the traditional Emirati garment, the brand beautifully blended an array of earth-toned hues against soft fabrics to create a unique piece for Etihad. Also, the collection is made of anti-bacterial and hypoallergenic Modal.

The collection was developed for the airline’s guests, on all first-class flights, as well as to guests staying in The Residence on board the Airbus A380 fleet.
