The fashion industry has been hit hard with the current pandemic and with brands across the world coming together to join the global fight against coronavirus, Loewe is the latest name to donate to the COVID-19 relief.
Contributing their fight against coronavirus, Loewe is donating 500,000 euros to educational projects — which is the initial donation before donating, for every product of the Paula’s Ibiza collection sold between May and August 2020 in LOEWE stores and on loewe.com, 40 more euros. The educational project, titled the Plataforma de Infancia, is a Spanish alliance of social organisations that works to protect children and adolescents’ rights.
Also, Loewe will be helping those on the frontline in fighting the pandemic and will donate 100,000 surgical masks to the Spanish Red Cross. The brand is also producing non-surgical masks in its Getafe factory — which will be distributed to volunteer workers, employees and their families.
Now, take a look on what Bvlgari’s CEO, Jean Christophe Babin, had to say on the COVID-19 pandemic.
