Introducing Net-a-Porter’s Korean Collective

All the way from Seoul
Here’s your one-stop shop for some of the best emerging brands from South Korea…

Korean beauty might have taken over our beauty vanities with face masks, serums, essences and many more multipurpose products that not only promise, but actually deliver better and brighter skin, now though it’s time that fashion took its moment in the spotlight, as a slew of Seoul’s coolest under-the-radar brands take the world by storm.

Enter Net-a-Porter, the online e-tailer that is always one step ahead of the e-commerce gang when it comes to sniffing out raw and emerging talent And their latest endeavor, a new Korean Collective, is doing just that; providing a one-stop hub for a curation of brands and exclusive capsule collections celebrating emerging talent from South Korea.

Taking direct inspiration from the much-copied street style scene of Seoul, the concept is based on a high-low mix where six different capsule collections are showcased side by side; from Pushbutton who introduced 12 RTW styles, and Andersson Bell’s 12 exclusive leather and tweed separates, to 064 Studio who have created an exclusive 6-piece jewellery collection just for the collective.

“The Korean Collective designers are the perfect balance of bold yet paired back, colourful but tasteful, masculine mixed with feminine,” Net-A-Porter’s Global Buying Direct Elizabeth von der Goltz, says. “There is something unique coming from this youthful culture which is appealing to the global customer – whether it’s the interesting styling, the streetwear trend or the mix of high and low which are all so prevalent on the streets of Seoul.”
