Farfetch communities, the global initiative aimed at cultivating cultural conversation, is celebrating its own Middle Eastern community of tastemakers aptly named, Get Together.
Off the back of Farfetch upping its editorial content game by scooping up figures of authority in fashion like Adwoa Aboah, Chloë Sevigny, Riz Ahmed and Blondey McCoy, the community vibes are crossing borders globally.
Here, in our region, Get Together features Arabs who are each putting their stamp on the cultural landscape in the Middle East. From a Saudi Arabian photographer to a Tunisian model pioneering for body positivity regionally recognised jewellery designer, the makeup of the gathering is literally synonymous with content creation.
These are the names you need to know:
– Aagam Kaur, a 19-year-old fashion creative and student based in Dubai who has a ‘what you see is what you get’ attitude.
– Ameni Esseibi, a 20-year-old model from Tunisia who grew up between Paris, Cairo and Dubai. Her mission is to shift the discourse on body image. Hear, hear!
– Feriel Moulai, a 33-year-old Belgian model of Algerian heritage. She’s walked the runway for Koché during Paris Fashion Week and was the first hijab-wearing model to walk in Paris. We, salute!
– Lana Al Beik, is a Palestinian-Syrian film graduate and model. She is a project manager and creative at a creative agency by day and pursuing a Masters Degree in Art Leadership by night.
– Nadine Kanso, is Beirut-born and Dubai-dwelling. She is a regionally acclaimed photographer, jewellery designer and style icon. Exploring Arab identity, her collection, ‘Bil Arabi’ has created much dialogue.

– Seyed Iman Naghavi, a 21-year-old, singer, video producer, and skater. His mission is to put Dubai on the global music map. He’s currently developing the underground artistic culture with his fellow comrades.
– Shahad Salman, a 23-year-old with all the passion for fashion. She’s never let her vitiligo get in the way of her confidence and self-love.
– Sohaila Kandil, an 18-year-old trailblazer from Egypt. She’s all about subverting the cultural and social taboos in all her fearlessness. One day, she wants to be a lawyer.
– Taha Ibraheem Baageel, a 20-year-old photographer from Saudi Arabia. He’s breaking the mold by documenting the other sides to his culture that no one really sees.
