It’s been over two years since Vogue Italia’s Editor-in-Chief, Franca Sozzani passed away but her influence continues to live on.
Starting from February 11, a private collection of Sozzani’s designer clothes will be available on Yoox. The collection will be split across five categories, reflecting the icon’s inimitable style: The Eclectic, The Black Tale, The Londoner, The Unconventional and The Dream Dimension. And according to WWD the e-tailer will carry 397 pieces from her Ready-to-Wear and Haute Couture pieces — including Sozzani’s Miu Miu coat and a Giambattista Valli dress — as well as 190 accessories, so you’ll have plenty of choice.
And in the name of a worthy cause, all proceeds from the sale will benefit the new Franca Sozzani Fund for Preventive Genomics at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital at Harvard Medical School which was developed by her son, photographer and filmmaker Francesco Carrozzini.
Now that is fashion with purpose.
