Elie Saab Jr. married Christina Mourad this weekend and her dress was absolutely stunning

Custom made by Elie Saab of course...
It was a regional celebration this weekend as one of the most respected fashion designers (and the rest of the world) celebrated his son getting married...

Celebrities and high-end personalities jet-setted to Lebanon this weekend to witness one of the most awaited regional weddings of the year, and grand it was.

Elie Saab’s son, Elie Saab Jr. wed the beautiful Christina Mourad at Bkerke in Lebanon, where a breathtaking setup welcomed guests including Toni Garrn, Sara Sampaio, Alina Baikova, Karolina Kurkuva, Dita Von Teese, Lily Donaldson and several Middle Eastern celebrities (who performed at the reception), were in attendance.

Whilst it was a star-studded event, everyone (and we mean everyone) was talking about the bride’s custom wedding dress — and with good reason.

During the couple’s religious wedding ceremony, Christina opted for a custom dress by Elie Saab (obviously) that featured a sleeveless high-neck bodice, and it came complete with a voluminous skirt. The veil itself was also a piece of art. In typical Elie Saab fashion, the veil’s tulle fabric was intricately embroidered with silk thread, stunning artistry and dazzling with sequins.

Go behind-the-scenes and discover the making of the bride’s stunning gown here…

Not only was there a breathtaking gown and veil, but a custom headpiece that boast a slew of sequinned pieces.

Congratulations to the happy couple!
