When Riccardo Tisci officially made his debut at Burberry during London Fashion Week, the Spring/Summer ’19 collection was a hit. And since then, the Italian designer has made his mark at the British fashion house with a series of changes to the house’s processes.
One signature change Tisci implemented at the maison was the new TB monogram (which was unveiled earlier this year), and overnight, the brand introduced its latest Autumn/Winter ’19 pre-collection lookbook for both men’s and women’s which heavily features the logo throughout.
Infused with refined staple pieces, minimal sophistication and strong tailoring, the new range focuses on animal motifs including gorilla faces, leopard collars, Dalmatian prints and Burberry’s knight-and-horse logo.
In a statement, Tisci explained, “I wanted this collection to be a continuation of the story I began to tell in September with my debut Burberry collection. I’m focusing on establishing our codes through archive prints, house colours, and iconic outerwear, while cementing the new themes I set out last season including the Thomas Burberry Monogram, eveningwear and tailoring.”
