Just days after presenting its latest haute couture collection for Spring/Summer ’20 in Paris, Dior have announced where it’s taking its next Cruise collection in May.
After parading the globe to showcase its Cruise collections — Cruise 2020 in Marrakech, Cruise 2019 in Paris and Cruise 2018 in Los Angeles — Dior’s next destination will be in Italy.
Going back to Maria Grazia Chiuri’s Italian roots, the Cruise 2021 show for Dior will take place in Lecce (the Southern part of Puglia where Chiuri’s family is originally from).
Slated for May 9, the showcase will follow Chanel, who will be kicking off the Cruise calendar on May 7. The show will then be followed by Gucci (in the U.S on May 18), Prada (who will be showing its next Cruise collection in Japan on May 21), and Max Mara (set to take over St. Petersburg in Russia on May 25).
