Chanel x Pharrell Williams team up on a capsule collection

It's about time
Pharrell Williams just debuted his latest capsule collection with Chanel...

Pharrell Williams and Chanel have always had a great relationship. The singer/songwriter/producer has fronted several campaigns for the maison including the Gabrielle handbag campaign, created unique pieces for Chanel’s Métiers d’art projects and even launched the world’s most expensive sneakers

Now, the pair is taking their partnership one step further as Pharrell has been named as Chanel’s latest collaborator for an exclusive capsule collection.

The news emerged overnight when the French maison hosted its first show in Bangkok, on the banks of the Chao Phraya river. Pharrell was spotted sitting front row (as usual), taking in the brand’s Cruise collection wearing a yellow hoodie featuring a slew of sparkly CC and Coco logos.

The piece was a nod to the Chanel x Pharrell Williams’ upcoming capsule collection, which will feature ready-to-wear and accessories for Spring 2019.

According to WWD, Chanel said, “the collection would debut exclusively on March 29, at its new Seoul flagship boutique, followed by select Chanel boutiques around the world from April 4.”
