It’s been 18 years since Chanel has been showcasing a Métiers d’art collection — a unique selection of ready-to-wear that pays tribute to the maison’s exceptional savoir-faire — and we’ll soon be seeing another display of sartorial goodness in December.
Chanel is preparing to showcase its 2020/21 Métiers d’art collection at the Château de Chenonceau (also known as the “Château des Dames”) in France, and we can’t wait to see what Virginie Viard will be serving up next.
If we had to guess, we’ll spot creativity sewn by the virtuosity of the artisans —embroiderers, feathermakers, pleaters, shoemakers, milliners and even glovemakers.
Chanel’s Métiers d’Art show will take place on December 1, 2020. Make sure to watch this space.
