Every year, key leaders from around the globe jetset to Dubai to interact and network amongst at the region’s most successful luxury business conference, Arab Luxury World. Now, it is set to return for its fifth edition with a new location, new theme and new line-up.
Designed to be the ultimate hub for brands, distributors, agents, retailers, mall operators and service providers, the conference provides the perfect platform for important discussions and insightful sessions, and this year, the two-day event will tackle issues such as new consumers, consumption and change.
Speaking of the upcoming conference, Julien Hawari, Co-CEO of Mediaquest, said: “This year we have chosen bold discussion topics that shine a spotlight on today’s harsh landscape, while also looking to more flourishing opportunities ahead. The luxury industry is undergoing major disruptions that are driven by changing consumers’ demands, the rise of millennials and abundance of technology. We have drafted this year’s Arab Luxury World agenda with these factors in mind and expect the discussions that ensue to help provide greater clarity on what is a critical moment for the luxury sector in the region.”
With a strong focus on different key topics including ‘Expectations of New Consumers’, ‘Regional Outlook’, ‘Mobile or Nothing’ and ‘The Rise of The New Arab Woman’, we can also expect to welcome some of the industry’s key leaders and many influential businessmen and women.
The list includes Alison Loehnis, President of Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter, Sonu Shivdasani, founder and CEO of Soneva, Julien Tornare, CEO of Zenith Watches, Edward Sabbagh, General Manager of Farfetch Middle East, and Maximilian Büsser, Owner & Creative Director, MB&F.
