Now that Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week has come to an end, our focus is on a month (or so) of epic fashion weeks. And Anya Hindmarch is already getting us in the mood with a sneak peek of what to expect from her show.
Following last season where the British fashion designer injected a dose of cheerfulness with the world’s largest beanbag (called the Chubby Cloud), Hindmarch has now revealed another Instagram-friendly installation that’s going to be all over your feeds.
Called The Weave Project, the playful (and immersive) installation is a structure made with woven mesh, mirroring the brand’s S/S’19 Neeson bag.
Announcing the news via social media, the brand wrote, “Introducing The Weave Project: an immersive art installation that will take place in Brewer Street Car Park, London from Saturday 16th — Tuesday 19th February during London Fashion Week. The Weave Project will include The Tube – an art piece created by artists collective #NumenForUse that visitors can climb through – as well as a cafe and Concept Store with exclusive product.”
Looks like we’ll be doing so much more than sitting at the shows during London Fashion Week…
