Before bidding adieu to Men’s Paris Fashion Week, where we’ve seen a slew of coveted menswear collections and cool street style looks, there were two collections showcased last night, and they’re worth seeing.
Last season, Lanvin‘s Creative Director Lucas Ossendrijver focused on colourful sporty cuts and logomania for Spring/Summer ’18, but this season the designer took a more layered approach for the new autumnal collection. Merging contemporary cuts with the brand’s traditional tailoring, the Fall/Winter ’18 collection layered padded vests and ponchos over coats, classic suits and crisp shirts.

Ending Men’s Paris Fashion Week was Kenzo‘s Carol Lim and Humberto Leon (who are on the jury panel for the fifth edition of LVMH Prize) with a must-see collection. As one of the major fashion houses to opt to show co-ed, the designers went retro-esque for its new men’s and women’s autumnal collections.
There was some serious colour-blocking, quirky details, metallics, statement shoes and the iconic maison’s flower motif, plus a series of strong cuts in the form of high-waisted checkered pants, leopard-printed jackets, sweaters, turtlenecks, gowns, suits and coats.
