Men’s London Fashion Week: Qasimi Fall/Winter ’18

Ending day one on a high note
An Emirati fashion label closed day one of Men's London Fashion Week with a must-see collection. See it here first...

Earlier this month we edited the top 6 local labels to watch in 2018, and we’ve decided to add one more name to that list. Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the fashion designer behind his eponymous label Qasimi, is the new name to watch as he delivered a standout show at Men’s London Fashion Week last night.

Closing the day with his Fall/Winter ’18 collection, the Emirati national — who is also the son of the current ruler of Sharjah — injected his signature Arabian elements into a modern-day collection brimming with oversized silhouettes, tailored cuts, patterned knitwear and a host of vichy prints.

Presented in a strong autumnal palette, the 24-look collection also included a selection of accessories including belts and oversized scarves, followed by lightweight outerwear, wide-length trousers, fitted shirts and cropped denim jackets.
