In a move towards cultivating a community of like-minded creatives in the region, Purificación Garcia has set up the ‘Thinker Program’. The Spanish fashion house has teamed up with select artists from across the region and a few weeks ago, the brand held a workshop in Jumeirah, coinciding with the recently launched Ori bags.
One of the artists they have partnered with is stylist Sleiman Dayaa, better known as Slimi by his comrades. His work spans from writing magazine editorials to creative direction and photoshoot production. Slimi has also launched his own magazine SLIMI Magazine – the magazine is a quarterly curation of inspirational imagery featuring the masterworks of fashion.
