The Fashion Trust Arabia Awards recently announced its postponement to November, however, we’re already seeing achingly cool collaborations stem from the non-profit initiative.
Teaming up with popular footwear label Malone Souliers, Fashion Trust Arabia released a capsule collection that continues to showcase its support to fashion talents across the region.
The brand’s signature Marla heel has been reimagined in Fashion Trust Arabia’s colour palette (think distinctive pink and deep blue) and its design pays tribute to the region’s unique architecture and vibrant colours.
To launch this exclusive capsule, designer Yasmin Al Mulla, singer Layla Kardan, industry trendsetter Zeynab El- Helw, digital creator Fayezzat and TV Host/Presenter Enjy Kiwan were tapped to star in a promotional campaign shot in Dubai.
“I am so inspired by the beautiful style and unique creativity in the Middle East. That is why I am immensely proud to be able to support young artists in the region, I call them artists because what they make is art. We have a long and beautiful relationship with the MENA region, and it was just a matter of finding the right moment for me to return the amazing support we have always had,” says Mary Alice Malone.
This exclusive capsule collection will be sold on malonesouliers.com, Level Shoes in The Dubai Mall and at Villaggio Mall in Doha, with 40% of sales proceeds will be donated to FTA’s non-profit to support the new generation of fashion designers.
