What makes the Versace woman iconic? Is it the fact that she’s a sartorial trailblazer? Or her innate ability to curate a timeless wardrobe with hardworking, versatile pieces that can be styled in a million different ways? We think it’s both. And Donatella Versace agrees. As a part of the brand’s Fall/Winter 2023 collection, Versace released a special ‘Icons’ collection – a selection of luxe wardrobe staples and enduring signatures of the Maison dedicated to the Versace Woman. Following the success of the first chapter of the Versace ‘Icons’ collection that launched earlier this year, the brand is now introducing us to a fresh set of wardrobe essentials.
The collection boasts distinct house codes like power tailoring in the Versace hourglass silhouette, sculpted bustier dresses and tank tops, the iconic Medusa’ 95′ hardware, and leather ‘Greca Goddess’ accessories featuring the House Greca signature in golden metal. The Versace ‘Icons’ collection is rich with recognizable house symbols intelligently embedded in wardrobe staples.
The launch of the second chapter of the Versace ‘Icons’ collection concludes the campaign lensed by photographers Mert & Marcus starring Anne Hathaway and Chris Lee, that launched the first Versace ‘Icons’ pieces earlier this year.
