Fendi has always had an unarguably playful touch of luxury embedded in its collections and for the Maison’s Women’s and Men’s Spring/Summer ’21 collection, it’s no different. Silvia Venturini Fendi‘s all-conquering artistry dominates the new seasonal collection — think colourful, calming and charming —and its dedicated campaign captures the collection’s very essence.
Captured through the lens of renowned photographer Nick Knight, the campaign cleverly evokes the traditional inspiration of the pieces with a backdrop that blends dreamlike elements and digital projections.
The scenography is composed of floating white curtains (mimicking the freshness of the collection) and domestic components including a wooden bed and chairs (reflecting the natural shades of the collection). And as achingly cool as that is, the campaign features a digital ‘window’ that is projected to reveal a glimpse of the outside world, with a key view of the Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana, the Maison’s signature headquarters in Rome.
Taking a closer look at the collection, the Spring/Summer ’21 range is also complemented by some of the Maison’s iconic bags such as PeekabooISeeU and Baguette.
