Gucci’s Creative Director Alessandro Michele is probably on a high right now because Gucci has just been crowned the hottest brand according to a new Q2 2022 report by Lyst – the fashion number-crunching platform – officially surpassing Balenciaga.
Michele’s been knocking it out of the park with his fantastical hacking project with Balenciaga, the Ha Ha Ha collection by Harry Styles x Gucci, and not to mention, the debut of a new High Jewellery collection. Perhaps it was also Gucci’s successful sales in its collaboration with Adidas, which caused a complete frenzy for shoppers around the world.
So it totally makes sense that Gucci is the hottest brand right now, beating several other luxury brands including Prada, Valentino and Louis Vuitton.
