For several seasons now, there’s been a rise of Scandinavian brands dominating the independent fashion scene. Synonymous with achingly cool styling, minimalistic designs and effortless comfort, their understated approach to dressing has won the world over — us included.
So, you can only imagine how thrilled we were when we knew that Ganni landed on Shopbop, and is the highlight of the go-to online retail destination’s “Summer of Shopbop” series.
This month, the focus falls on the Copenhagen-based brand and its Pre-Fall ’19 collection (think coveted, colourful and cool), as Shopbop took over the streets of Paris to highlight Ganni’s Instagrammable collections.
If you’re in the French capital this summer, you can stroll alongside sidewalk cafes in the collection’s eclectic mix of prints and textures, or hit the Louvre in striped wool sweaters, leopard-printed silk stretch skirts and Western boots.

“My family and I will be spending a few weeks in Montauk and then I am off to Copenhagen for Fashion Week! I am really looking forward to seeing Ganni’s new collection showcased during Copenhagen Fashion Week!”
Favourite spots in Paris…
“I absolutely adore “Grazie” on Boulevard Beaumarchais for the perfect personal pizza. The Shopbop team and I always make sure to stop there when in Paris for market or fashion weeks. Recently, our team discovered the most amazing hidden Mediterranean restaurant in Paris: Balagan! It was super lively, had an amazing atmosphere, great music and was perfect for a large group. I think a hidden gem right outside of Paris Reims which is also known as the Champagne region. If I have time to venture out of Paris, it’s a lovely train ride and Reims is much less touristy than Paris.”
