This week, the Buro Must-Have list spotlights the Alexander McQueen ‘Armadillo’ boots. The Alexander McQueen ‘Armadillo’ shoe collection is inspired by the protective shell of the armadillo. The iconic curved heel, synonymous with the brand, was debuted as a part of the unforgettable Alexander McQueen Plato’s Atlantis show in 2010.
This legendary heel makes a comeback as a part of the Spring/Summer 2024 collection, landing it right on top of our wishlist. Reimagined in the form of draped and sculpted ankle and calf-length boots, the Alexander McQueen ‘Armadillo’ boots are the statement-making footwear worth investing in. Our favorite? The calf-high bow detailed boots. Crafted in supple faux leather, a loosely knotted (sort of) half bow adorns one side of each shoe, resting on the curved lacquer heel.
