2018 has seen a boom in the region’s e-commerce offerings, with local designers including Madiyah Al Sharqi and Lama Jouni launching their own digital stores, as well as the likes of Lacoste and Gucci expanding its Middle Eastern online offering.
Now, Dubai-based handbag label HALM is joining the digital sphere with the launch of its e-commerce platform this month. The brand designs its handbags in Dubai’s d3 and the pieces are then made by artisan-manufacturers in Italy. The result is beautifully crafted, elegantly minimal handbags that are perfect for every occasion.
The e-commerce platform has launched with the brand’s limited edition Collection 1:1 which consists of five silhouettes in an array of materials. It also offers free worldwide delivery.
Speaking of the launch, Hanna Ransjö, the Creative Director and Founder, said, “HALM represents the beautiful diversity of the world and each piece is designed with that idea in mind, it’s only right that our handbags are made accessible worldwide. We’ve created this sleek, online shopping experience to compliment our vision and given women on the go access to our products at the click of a button.”
