Whilst the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took a day trip to Blackpool, Prince Harry took to the stage at SSE Arena in London as part of the 2019 WE Day celebrations. The event, which is held every year, aims to end child labour and support international change, bringing together inspirational public figures from across the globe to champion the initiative. The Duke shared an inspirational speech to the thousands of guests that included a quote from Martin Luther King, receiving raucous applause from the crowd.
However that applause was nothing compared to the cheers that erupted when at the end of his speech, Prince Harry surprised the crowd by saying. “I’m now going to try and drag my wife on stage” before walking over to the side of the stage to take Meghan‘s hand and bring her up into the spotlight. A visibly surprised Meghan excitedly obliged, joining Harry as he told the crowd, “I am with you. We are with you. Now get to work!”
