Dua Lipa has just wrapped up a three-day trip in Lebanon. The Grammy-winning singer, who recently won Best New Artist at the 2019 Grammy Awards, has been using her power in this world for good by visiting some refugee settlements with UNICEF.
The New Love British star went to meet children in the Rayak, Beqaa area with the NGO organisation, as a way to see first-hand the conditions they live in and hear their harrowing stories – which she described as “eye-opening”.
Lipa, whose parents are from Kosovo, could relate to the need to adapt to a new environment and culture, saying it so eloquently on her Instagram…
She couldn’t have put it better: “They all have dreams. They all deserve equality and a place to be able to live, learn and reach their full potential. I always believe in children as they are our future and we have to take care of them.”
Now if that didn’t warm your heart…
