Meghan Markle is all about that farm-to-table life in Frogmore Cottage

The simple life
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have officially jumped on the sustainable lifestyle wagon...

Now that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are holing up nicely in their new Frogmore Cottage (check out the exteriors here) they’re adopting some conscious lifestyle choices.

According to a royal correspondant for The Daily Mail, the Duchess is said to be tucking into a farm-to-table diet by growing produce in a little garden plot.

The duchess has a passion for cooking so it was suggested to include a small plot in the spacious garden where they can grow some of their own produce. She regularly cooks for Prince Harry and the cottage will be the perfect place for her to prepare meals with some home grown produce from their own garden. It is understood that she wants to be able grow vegetables, herbs and soft fruits.”

Having grown up in the sunny climes of southern California it makes sense that Markle has a taste for an outdoor lifestyle. She had previously said in an old interview that, “I loved gardening and growing my own vegetables. That farm-to-table ethos was ingrained at such a young age.”

With this eco-lifestyle and baby Sussex on the way, it sounds like the perfect set-up to us.
