Everything you need to know about the two new additions coming to the UAE

Yes. There's going to be another 'world's largest'...
Two more major tourist destinations are about to open in the UAE and we've got the details on what to expect...

The UAE is already home to some of the world’s most recognisable landmarks and with Expo 2020 coming up, it seems that there’s no slowing down when it comes to exciting new developments in the Middle Eastern country.

Just named as the first Middle Eastern city in UNESCO’s Creative Cities of Design list, Dubai is about to get another must-visit destination in one of its most Instagrammed locations and Fujairah, too.

Dubai is set to welcome another dancing fountain (adding to the Dubai Fountain in Downtown Dubai) which will be located at the new mall on Palm Jumeirah, The Pointe. The centrepiece will cover a 12,000 square metre area of water and its background provides the ultimate views of the Atlantis The Palm.

Fujairah is also about to get a boost in its tourism sector, too.

One of the UAE’s most popular spots for snorkelers and divers, Fujairah’s shores will be getting the world’s largest coral garden (which is set to break a Guinness World Record once it’s complete) which will also act as as rehabilitation ecosystem in the emirate by providing a haven for marine life.

Speaking of the upcoming project, Director of the Fujairah Centre for Adventures, Saeed Al Muamari, said: “Such agreements are important to help preserve the pristine natural beauty of the region, and its precious marine environment. The project is the largest in the world and will help boost local and international interest in the coral reef and the marine environment.”
