Dubai is already home to a number of rich cultural activities and now the doors are set to open to a new museum exploring the city’s rich Emirati history.

As part of the first phase of the Dubai Historic District (DHD) project on the Dubai Creek, the city’s Culture and Arts Authority has opened the doors to a new museum that spotlights the UAE’s heritage and traditions.

Al Shindagha Museum is a collaborative development by Dubai Culture, Dubai Municipality, and Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing. The museum is broken into five parts: Governance and Society, Creativity and Well-Being, Living off the Sea and Land, Children’s Pavilion, and Education and Public Programming.

Promoting the cultural scene, the museum will include a series of exciting discussions, captivating panels, interesting workshops and exhibitions.

The new Al Shindagha Museum is now open at Dubai Historical District in Dubai Creek.
