The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has implemented a string of positive changes over the past two years and the most recent announcement is music to our ears. Literally.
As part of its initiatives to develop cultural experiences, encourage women’s equality and boost its tourism efforts under the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, the country will be hosting its first-ever international golfing tournament (from January 31 to February 3) and it will bring the world’s best golfers to Middle Eastern ground.
However, that’s not all.
The four-day sporting event will also be hosting two concerts to open the tournament with a number of international superstars set to grace the stage including, get this, Mariah Carey.
The diva of all divas will be making her debut in Saudi Arabia so be prepared to sing along to Mimi’s high notes as she performs classic hits including Hero, We Belong Together, Always Be My Baby, One Sweet Day and Through The Rain.
Plus, the iconic singer will be accompanied by Dutch DJ Tiesto on the first night whilst Yemeni-Emirati singer Balqees Fathi and Jamaican rapper Sean Paul prepare to take the stage on the second night.
Looks like we’re going to be in for a not-to-be-missed performance. Tickets can be bought on ticketingboxoffice.com.
