Music and fashion have long coexisted in stylish harmony but in recent times, fashion houses have increasingly integrated music into their offerings. Christopher Bailey at Burberry spearheaded the movement having championed up-and-coming artists and curating specific playlists for the brand’s shows across his 17 years at the brand. Now, Chanel has released an exclusive set of curated playlists via Apple Music to allow customers to relive the music from its fashion shows over and over again.
A sort of ‘best of’ compilation, the playlists were compiled by sound designer Michel Gaubert and include an array of songs played during the brand’s most iconic shows. Additionally, there’s also a playlist featuring songs by friends of the house, including Pharrell Williams and Caroline de Maigret.
The playlists are available for download now on Apple Music. Now, excuse us whilst we go and practice our runway walk to the music…
