In a galaxy far, far, away, the epic space opera franchise Star Wars, has captured many hearts around the globe since its debut in 1977.
Followed by several spin-offs, series and trilogies, including Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Disney and Lucasfilm have been working on the next standalone story and now, the first official trailer has been unveiled ahead of its spring launch.
Titled Solo: A Star Wars Story, the new (and highly anticipated) story follows the early adventures of the galaxy’s favourite smuggler, Han Solo (who was previously played by Hollywood personality Harrison Ford) and his famed companion Chewbacca.
In the trailer, Han Solo — now played by Alden Ehrenreich — voices the captivating teaser clips and says: “I’ve been running scams on the streets since I was ten. I was kicked out of the flight academy for having a mind of my own. I’m going to be a pilot. The best in the galaxy.”
The all-star cast of the film also includes Donald Glover (Lando Calrissian), Emilia Clarke (Kira) and Woody Harrelson (Beckett).
