The biggest snubs at the Golden Globes 2022

The show must go on
In an untelevised event, the Golden Globes have recognised the best films and television of the year and announced the winners this morning...

In the early hours of Monday morning, the Golden Globes went down… well, sort of. Whilst we’re amid new regulations due to COVID’s omicron outbreak, The Hollywood Foreign Press Association is taking this time to repair its reputation following the controversy that saw it surprisingly devoid of Black voters after lacking nominations of talent in 2021.

However, there is no break taken between annually recognising the best films and television of the year. The Golden Globes went on in the form as a private event – although nobody was able to watch the celebrities’ reactions this time around – and still saw a plethora of powerhouse actors and actresses up for a nomination including Denzel Washington, Ben Affleck, Will Smith, Olivia Colman, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Dornan and Stephen Spielberg, among others.
