The Oscars kicked off just moments ago and this year looked a little different. The 93rd ceremony took place two months later than usual and was split between an in-person event at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood and Union Station in downtown Los Angeles.
It may have been an unusual set up this year but the ceremony could make history. Chloé Zhao became the second woman in history to win an Oscar for Best Director (and the first woman of colour to win the category) for ‘Nomadland‘.
