Earlier this evening, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced the nominees for the 79th annual Golden Globe Awards and although this year’s event won’t be televised, the show must go in with the 2022 Golden Globes still very much pushing forward. Leading the pack is Netflix’s “Power of the Dog” and Focus Features’ “Belfast” landing seven nominations, whilst HBO’s “Succession,” topped all television shows with five nods. Apple’s “Ted Lasso” and “The Morning Show” also fared well at the Globes, earning four nominations apiece, whilst on the film front, “The Power of the Dog” and “Belfast” fight it out for Best Drama alongside “Dune,” “King Richard” and CODA.”
