Prince Harry and Meghan Markle bid farewell as they make their final appearance as senior royals

Bidding adieu to their royal duties
The Commonwealth Day service saw Prince Harry and Meghan Markle together with other members of the royal family...

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sure know how to make an entrance (or an exit at this point), as they were spotted at their final event as senior royals at the Commonwealth Day service in Westminster Abbey. The pair — who have decided to step down from their respective royal duties in January — embarked on their final tour in the UK from March 5-9 with all events taking place in London.

For the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s final event, they joined other members of the royal family including the Queen, Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall, as well as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge — marking the first time we’ve spotted the family together in several months.

As always, we love seeing the fab four together (pictured above) and sartorially, the women did not disappoint.

Kate Middleton stunned in a Catherine Walker red coat dress whilst Meghan Markle championed yet another British-based brand for her return to the UK. For the occasion, she opted for a beautiful green caped midi dress from Emilia Wickstead, a Gabriela Hearst bag, nude Aquazzura pumps and a hat by William Chambers.

Whilst their appearance marks their final one as royals, they’ll officially bid farewell to their royal duties on March 31. Stay tuned to find out what the pair will be up to next.

Until then, take a look at our region’s heroines.
