Dubai Shopping Festival Guide: All the places to be and be seen

Enjoy these diverse experiences
Tourists and residents alike can explore Dubai like they’ve never before…

There’s no doubt that up until now, the Dubai Shopping Festival has had a lot in store for UAE residents and tourists alike. And although there’s approximately two weeks left of the annual event, there’s still plenty to do and see at these new retail elements and activations across the city.

You won’t want to miss out on the plethora of new shopping experiences, exclusive collections and crazy bargains scattered in various locations across the city.

DINING

Whether on the hunt for a new dining option, look no further than Al Beiruti (indulge in signature Lebanese dishes in its new home on Sheikh Zayed Road), Food District (The Pointe’s newest addition offering two-storeys of dining options), The Maine Land Brasserie (if you’re a sucker for good food and seafood, you have to head down to its new location at The Opus, Business Bay) and of course, the Time Out Market in Dubai — set to house some of the city’s best-loved restaurants and chefs at Souk Al Bahar.

Whilst there’s still a long list of dining options including the Depachika Foodhall, Tasha’s, L’atelier De Joel Robuchon, Shanghai ME and the City Centre Deira Food Central, there’s plenty to experience.

ACTIVATIONS

Get your adrenaline fix by checking out The Arch — the city’s latest adventure activity destination located in Dubai Festival City Mall. It’s a one-of-a-kind structure that offers adventurous activities such as climbing walls, a pump track, zipline and plenty of exciting ways to get your adrenaline running. There’ll also be a unique Festival Souk at Dubai Festival City Mall and Bounce-X, the world’s first freestyle terrain park. The 4,500 square meter indoor space is bound to be your ultimate playground if you’re an adrenaline junkie.

A family-favourite event to check out this Dubai Shopping Festival is The Pointe Fountains. Spanning across the complete boulevard at The Pointe, witness the world’s largest fountains dance to classic tunes.

SHOPPING

You can still enjoy some crazy bargains (with offers up to 75%) this Dubai Shopping Festival by checking out some achingly cool concept stores such as an experiential creative concept space showcasing Middle East’s finest designs at the Gigi Concept Store. Another concept store, titled THAT in Mall of the Emirates, offers a selection of international and regional brands from established and emerging designers.

If you’re into interior design (or simply want to up your game at home), make sure to check out the best deals at H&M Home in The Dubai Mall, Chattels & More and the newly opened Ebarza at Nakheel Mall.

Also, don’t forget to head to Deira City Centre to celebrate its 25th anniversary. Plenty of exciting dining and shopping await.

With enough to do and see, soak up as much as you can until the Dubai Shopping Festival comes to an end.
